7. Put shaft assembly (8) in position in a press. Install
Tool (A) to remove bearing (9) from the shaft.

1. Put shaft bearing (9) in position in a press. Make
sure there is support for the inner race of the
bearing. Push shaft into bearing (9).

2. Install seal (7) in the housing.

3. Put the water pump housing in position on a press
and install shaft assembly (6) in the housing.

4. Install snap ring (5) over the bearings with tool (A).
