7. Remove suction disc (8).
8. Remove gasket (9) and discard it.

9. Remove four nuts (10) and washers that hold
cylinder (11) on the crankcase.
NOTE : For the purpose of reassembly, tighten nuts
(10) to a torque of 17� � 21 N � � m (150� � 186 lb � � ft).
10. Remove cylinder (11) from the crankcase.
11. Remove gasket and discard it.

12. Remove two bolts (12) and separate piston and
connecting rod assembly (13) from the
crankshaft.
NOTE : For the purpose of reassembly, tighten bolts
(12) to a torque of 27 � � 32 N � � m (20 � � 24 lb � � ft)

NOTE : Put identification on all parts for correct
assembly.
13. Remove three oil rings (14) and wiping ring (15)
using a piston ring expander.

14. Remove piston pin (16) and snap rings from both
side of the piston using snap ring plier.
15. Remove piston pin (16) and connecting rod (17)
from piston (18).

16. Inspect bushings (19) and (20) in connecting rod
(17). If the bushings has a large amount of wear,
make a replacement of the bushing.
