3. Pressure compensation valve area ratio
Function
q The state of division changes according to the
area ratio of pressure compensation portion
(A1) and (A2). Area ratio = (A2)/(A1)
If area ratio = 1 : the spool meter-in down-
q
stream pressure will be equal to the maximum
load pressure, and the pressure will be divided
according to the opening area ratio.
q If area ratio = 1 or over : the spool meter-in
downstream pressure will be greater than the
maximum load pressure, and the pressure will
be divided smaller than the opening area ratio.
q If area ratio = 1 or under : the spool meter-in
downstream pressure will be smaller than the
maximum load pressure, and the pressure will
be divided greater than the opening area ratio.
