50 Disassembly and assembly
24. Remove clamp (46).
25. Remove U-clamp (47) and U-bolts (48) and
(49).
26. Remove muffler (50) and joint (51).
27. Remove clamp (91) and tube (90).
28. Remove mounting bolts (93), (94) and bracket
(92).
29. Remove clamp (52).
30. Loosen clamp (53).
31. Remove tube (54) and hose together.
32. Remove heat insulation covers (55), (56), and
(57).
33. Disconnect lubrication hoses (58) and lubrica-
tion tube (59).
34. Sling the turbocharger and exhaust manifold
assembly temporarily.

[*7] 35. Remove 12 mounting bolts (60) and turbo-
charger and exhaust manifold assembly (61).

assembly: 35 kg
36. Remove cap (62) of front gear cover.

37. Rotate the crankshaft forward to set stamp (m)
of supply pump drive gear (63) to the top and
set the No. 1 cylinder to the compression top
dead center (TDC).
