CF Step
changes the step size for the center frequency function. On
Auto Man
selecting a step size and activating the center frequency
function, the arrow keys change center the frequency by the
step- size value. The step size function is useful for finding
harmonics and sidebands beyond the current frequency span
of the analyzer. Selecting auto- couple sets the center
frequency step size to one division (10 percent of the span).

The Channel Standard softkey is a shortcut to loada
factory- preset standard file (*.STD) which is located in
system memory as default. The standard file list includes
most communication protocol standards which is used in
several countries. Please refer to "Loading a file" on page 72
for how to recall a file.
Key access: Frequency > Channel Std.
Freq Offset
inputs a frequency offset value added to the frequency
readout of the marker, to account for frequency co versions
external to the analyzer. Offset entries are added to all
frequency readouts including marker, start frequency, and
stop frequency. Offsets may only be entered using the
numeric keypad. Offsets are not added to the span or
frequency count readouts. Entering an offset does not affect
the trace display. When a frequency offset is entered, its
value appears on the bottom of the display. To eliminate an
offset, perform a Factory Preset, or press Freq Offset, 0, Hz.
When a frequency offset is entered, its value appears on the
bottom of the display (as opposed to reference level offsets,
which appear on the left side of the display). To eliminate
an offset, press Freq Offset, 0, and Enter. Pressing Preset also
sets the offset to zero.
