Standby temperature

Configuration mode

To enter the configuration mode, press and hold i-OP for two seconds when switching on
the soldering station.

The i-TOOL and CHIP TOOL VARIO can be reheated from standby tem-
perature by movement; the Tech-Tool and X-TOOL by briefly wiping with a
moist sponge; with all other tools by pressing or turning i-OP.

This is the soldering tip temperature during work breaks.
It is automatically activated after the [Standby time] has
lapsed. Lowering the temperature saves energy and ex-

tends the tip and heating element service lives.

Turn i-OP to select a menu item, then press:
[CHANGE] opens the [Configuration] menu
[ABORT] stops the operation
[DEFAULT] restores the factory settings.

In the configuration mode the following settings are
possible:
