Chapter 4 Operating the Agility System
When the start-up tests are successfully completed, the buttons on the left side of the screen
will be activated and the message Initializing will disappear. At this time the system is ready
for the user to proceed.

4.4 Filter Setup

The Agility system is factory configured to have wavelength filters installed on the six –
position filter wheel for use with the absorbance (OD) reader. However, there may be a need
to reconfigure the system with new filters if different wavelengths are required for certain
assays. If any filters are changed on the filter wheel, they must be defined and stored in the
instrument database such that the operation can move to the filter designated by the assay. On
the home screen, select the instrument setup button.
This will allow access to the Filter Setup screen as shown here in Figure 4-3.
