Chapter 6 The Graphical User Interface
Figure 6-28: Pause/Stop/Abort Screen
Selecting the Pause button
will stop the system from further processing although
some operations may not stop immediately. The system should not be paused for an extended
time as there may be timing operations that are critical to proper processing that may be
compromised.
The Plate Abort option
stops the processing of a current plate that has failed or
all plates, depending on the user selection. All unused plates and SmartKits used for to those
plates will be returned to the loading bays. The system may not stop immediately. Some
actions being performed at the time may need to arrive at a state where the system can be
safely stopped before discontinuation. Plate maps will be automatically exported for aborted
plates. Files will be located in a date and time stamped subfolder in the C:\Program
Data\Dynex Technologies\Plate folder.
The End-Of-Day option
will return all unused plates and SmartKits. It will
reset all consumables and prepare the system for its next session, shutting the system down.
