Fn06 - RECYCLE

EAGLE can control the counter "no. recycles" on the key starting from firmware rev. 1.29.
The check on the counter is intended to verify whether the same key has been used to make a purchase enabled
to recycle and then recycle the waste materials.
As a matter of fact, on all the Paytec payment systems that can manage the recycling function, an option is
available for each selection to enable the recycling of waste materials. When the recycle function has been
enabled, the number of recycles available is updated on the key counter after each vend. The counter is then
read and decremented on the recycling machine (e.g. TRITECH) when inserting the waste material. A credit is
loaded on the key for recycling (the amount of such credit is programmed on the system installed on the recycling
machine).
If EAGLE has been installed on a VM Executive, the number of recycles available on the key is transmitted and
displayed on the VM when inserting the key.
The number of recycles available is displayed for the time length (secs.) programmed in Fn06.
In order to update the recycle counter on PAYTEC keys, the options here below must be set in Fn06:
The following PAYTEC systems can be installed on a recycling machine: CAIMAN EXE, CAIMAN LITE EXE,
CAIMAN MF LITE EXE.
If, for instance, the RECYCLER is equipped with a CAIMAN EXE with display LCD, when inserting the key the
number of recycles available will be displayed.
You can set here how for many seconds the number of recycles available will be
displayed (0 to 99 secs,).

When inserting the key, the number of recycles available will be displayed for 0
to 99 secs on the LCD positioned on the system faceplate. After timeout, the
credit on the key will be displayed.
With Protocol Executive: when inserting the key, the number of recycles
stored on the key is transmitted to the VM.
When setting "0 sec", the number of recycles is neither displayed nor transmitted
to the VM.
Set the selections that can be recycled (1 to 100).
N The selection cannot be recycled. When buying this product, the recycle
counter is not incremented on the key.
Y The selection can be recycled. When buying this product the recycle counter
is incremented on the key (and credit on the key is incremented when
recycling the waste materials).
