Exact-Change condition

The "Exact-Change" alarm is transmitted when the system cannot give change (the alarm is automatically
controlled by the system depending on the value and the number of coins in the tubes).
As a rule, the Exact-Change condition is OFF if the coins remaining in the tubes make it possible to give
a change whose value is between the minimum and the maximum change programmed.
The Exact-Change condition is NOT enabled if the difference between the number of coins in the tubes and the
number of coins for "empty" condition is higher than the programmed value.
For minimum change, the system will use the coin with the lowest value among the coins that are to fall in the
tubes.
For maximum change, the system will use coins depending on the vend mode selected (see below):
• Multivend
Maximum change is the value set in Fn01.
If this value is "zero", the system will give a maximum change whose value is the "maximum
cash credit" (Fn00) plus the value of the coin with the highest value (Fn03).
• Single vend
Maximum change is the value set in Fn01. You have to set "Y" in the option "Max. change in
single vend" (Fn01).
If this value is "zero" (or you haven't enabled the option "Max. change in single vend"), the
system will give a maximum change whose value is the value of the highest price (Fn04) plus
the value of the coin with the highest value (Fn03).
Example 1
Maximum change € 5.00
Value coins in the tubes
The system is NOT in Exact-Change because it can give any change value with the coins in the tubes (€0.05 to €5.00).
Example 2
Maximum change € 5.00
Value coins in the tubes
The system is NOT in Exact-Change because it can give any change value with the coins in the tubes (€0.05 to €5.00).
Example 3
Maximum change € 5.00
Value coins in the tubes
The system IS in Exact-Change because the coins in the tubes do not make it possible to give any change value
between 0.05 and 5.00 (e.g. it is not possible to pay out a change worth €0.15 - €0.35)
Example 4
Maximum change 7.00.
Value coins in the tubes
The system IS in Exact-Change because the coins in the tubes do not make it possible to give any change value
between 0.05 and 7.00 (e.g. it is not possible to pay out a change worth €6.40 to €7.00).
12 x 0.05 = 0.60 (coin with lowest value = 0.05)
0 x 0.10 = 0.00
0 x 0.20 = 0.00
10 x 0.50 = 5.00
5.60
1 x 0.05 = 0.05
1 x 0.10 = 0.10
5 x 0.20 = 1.00
9 x 0.50 = 4.50
5.55
2 x 0.05 = 0.10
0 x 0.10 = 0.00
6 x 0.20 = 1.20
10 x 0.50 = 5.00
6.30
2 x 0.05 = 0.15
8 x 0.10 = 0.80
2 x 0.20 = 0.40
10 x 0.50 = 5.00
