Tip If necessary, use a wrench to hold the luer adapter in place while unscrewing the
vent line.

5. Install the luer cap (P/N 053981) provided with the Dionex EGC onto the luer adapter.
This prevents leaks from the vent opening when you turn over the cartridge (see
