9 Malfunctions and troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

Messages or malfunctions in the system are displayed in the control soft-
ware and on the status display of the respective product component, if
applicable.
Messages will be displayed by the control software and describe mal-

functions on the instrument (e.g. jammed drive) or problems with the
control (e.g. missing or invalid parameter). A message informs about
the cause and the solution of a problem.
Malfunctions have to be solved directly on the product. If applicable,
￭
this can be done with the help of the control software (e.g. initializa-
tion, move to defined position, etc.).
