Problem
Error message: Paper Jam
Possible Causes and Remedies
A paper jam condition will turn off the paper ready lamp and a paper jam report will appear in the WIDEsystem status tab.

Remove the document from the scanner by pressing the paper reverse or paper forward button on the keypad

If the paper movement buttons fail to move the document open the scanner lid
Raise the lid slightly using one hand then use the other hand to pull the document free of the scanner
Hold the lid open and remove the document

Close the lid and wait for the ready light to turn on again

Reload the document

If the paper jam occurs a second time select the soft handling option in Nextimage and try again
