MAINTENANCE
7.1 INTRODUCTION
This section contains information
necessary to maintain,
calibrate, and troubleshoot
the Model 194. Fuse replace-
ment, line voltage selection, and option installation
pro-
cedures are also included.
WARNING
7.2 LINE VOLTAGE SELECTION
The procedures
in this section
are intended
for
use only by qualified
service
personnel.
Do not
perform
these
procedures
unless
you
are
qualified
to do so. Some of the procedures
may
expose
you to potentially
lethal voltages
(> 30V
RMS)
that
could
result
in personal
injury
or
death
if normal
safety
precautions
are
not
observed.
Information
in this section is arranged as follows:

Line Voltage
Selection:
Describes the procedure for
checking or setting the operating line voltage of the
instrument.
Disconnect
the
line
cord
and
all
other
in-
struments
from the Model
194 before
removing
the top cover.
Fuse
Replacement:
Outlines
the
procedures
necessary to rcplacc the line, and digital
supply,
fuses.
Option
Installation:
Gives the procedure for install-
ing the Model 1944 AID Module.
Calibration:
Details the procedure for calibrating the
Model
194, including
recommended
calibration
cqulpment.
2. Locate the line voltage selection s\\itch adjacc,nt t<, the
power transformer on the mother board (we t~igure 7-l).
3. Place the line voltage selection switch in the ,3ppropriatc
position,
as outlined
in Table 7-l.
4. If the line voltage setting has bwn changc~d, inst.111 '1 znc~\\
fuse, as discussed in paragraph 7.3.
