REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY

Remove engine assembly from the
frame.

Remove drive unit cover and drain secondary
gear oil into a pan.

Remove the four secondary driven gear housing
bolts and remove the assembly from the crank-
case.

Remove the shims and O-ring.
a Secure the universal joint flange in a vise and
straighten the bent portion of
the
driven
gear
nut. Remove the
nut.
Remove the flange from the driven
gear.
Tap the driven gear with a plastic hammer to
