Before tightening the exhaust pipe clamp bolts,
install both right and left rear footrest mounting
bolts loosely.
*
After tightening the exhaust pipe clamp bolts,
tighten both right and left rear footrest rnount-
ing bolts and exhaust pipe connector bolts.
Tightening torque
Replace the plug caps
on the
spark
plugs m that
their code markings
correspond
to
the
cylinder
numbers arranged in the
order of
1,
2, 3
and
4
from the left.

After remounting the engine, adjust the rear
brake pedal (page 2-18), brake light switch,
clutch (page 2-19), throttle cable (page
2-1 1 )
and choke cable (2-1 1
).
