When replacing the following chain guide,
apply

gauge,

taking a clearance reading
at
several places indicat-
ed. I f the largest reading at any position of the
straightedge exceeds the limit, replace the cylinder.

Measure the cylinder bore diameter a t six places.
If
any
one of the measurements exceeds the
limit,
Service Limit
overhaul the cylinder
and
replace
the piston with
an oversize, or replace the cylinder. Once the
reboring is done on any one cylinder which meas-
urement is beyond the
limit, the remaining cyl-
inders must be also sebored accordingly. Otherwise
the
imbalance might causes excess vibration.
