Match the lock screw hole

to the long groove

in the push rod, as
shown.
Slide the push rod spring on the pushrod.

White turning lock shaft handle counterclock-
wise, push in the pushrod all the way. Keep on
turning the handle until it refuses to
turn further.
Tighten the lock screw to lock the pushrod, so
that the pushrod will nos plunge out.
C A M CHAIN 20-PITCH LENGTH
Pull the chain tight to remove any slack, then using
vernier calipers, measure the 20-pitch length of
cam chain. If it measures more than limits, replace
the cam
chain.
