A LED display indicates this state. The HALT state is also left when the breakpoint is left.

DCP flashing
The DCP flashing function is used to check the correct assignment to a module and its
interfaces.
This function is available as of STEP 7 V5.3 SP1.
It is activated in HW Config or in NetPro under the following path:
Target system > Ethernet > Edit Ethernet node... via the Browse... button, in the Search
Network dialog box via the Flashing button of STEP 7.

Meaning
This LED indicates whether the PROFINET interface has been
synchronized.
The PROFINET interface has not yet synchronized with the
send cycle clock of PROFINET IO with IRT, or PROFINET IO
with IRT has not been configured.
The PROFINET interface has synchronized to the send cycle
clock of PROFINET IO with IRT.
A PROFINET firmware download is in progress.
If this LED is red, it indicates a fault at the IsoPROFIBUS in‐
terface.
Bus fault
Parameter assignment error
If this LED is green, it indicates the bus status of the IsoPRO‐
FIBUS interface.
Cyclic data exchange
Bus status "Clear"
No fault or no interface configured.
