3.8.2 Relocation

■ Install or relocate the Manipulator with two or more people. The Manipulator
weights are as follows. Be careful not to get hands, fingers, or feet caught
and/or have equipment damaged by a fall of the Manipulator.

LS3-401*: approx. 14 kg: 31 lb.
LS6-502*: approx. 17 kg: 37.5 lb.
LS6-602*: approx. 17 kg: 37.5 lb.
LS6-702*: approx. 18 kg: 39.7 lb.
Turn OFF the power on all devices and unplug the cables.
Remove the mechanical stops if using them to limit the motion range of Joints #1 and
#2. For details on the motion range, refer to Setup & Operation: 5.2 Motion Range
Setting by Mechanical Stops.
Cover the arm with a sheet so that the arm will not be damaged.
Tie the lower end of the shaft and arm, and the base and arm together with the wire
tie.
Be careful not to tie them too tight. Otherwise, the shaft may bend.

Hold the bottom of Arm #1 by hand to unscrew the anchor bolts.
Then, remove the Manipulator from the base table.
