R A T E
RATE allows you to temporarily override and adjust recorded timing. By pressing RATE,
you can apply a percentage multiplier to any recorded time. The percentage ranges from
0% to 999% (with 100% being the recorded time) and is adjusted using the menu dial. For
any rate change, dialing clockwise will speed up the timed effect while counter-clockwise
will slow the timed effect.

Normal Mode
With Next Mode active, set levels using the faders
Press [RATE] once. The LCD shows the crossfader times and the fade rate %.
If "XF" is not visible in the upper left corner of the display, press [STACK] to view
the crossfader rate %.
Turn the dial to alter the displayed times proportionally in a range of 0% (instant)
to 999% (10x longer than the recorded times).
Press [ .. ] to play the next look using the adjusted times. You may leave your
SmartFade in this mode and alter the fade time before each successive
crossfade, or you may...
Press [RATE] again. The rate is stored as an override to the displayed times for
all successive crossfades. This will again reveal the level bars in the LCD.
Continue setting NEXT looks and playing them with the altered fade time.
To remove the fade rate override repeat the process above, turning the dial until
100% is displayed.
