7.2.3 Wheel lock

CAUTION
Wheel lock not engaged when getting in or out
Falling, tipping over of the user due to user error
► Before the user gets in or out, always engage and check the wheel lock.
► Engage the wheel lock to prevent the rehab buggy from moving on uneven ground or during transfers (e.g.
into a car).
NOTICE
Incorrect use of the wheel lock
Damage to wheels, loss of braking function due to incorrect operation
► Do not use the wheel lock whilst travelling. The product must be standing still before braking.
► Do not engage the wheel lock forcefully.
► When you activate the wheel lock and feel clear resistance, you can move the wheels slightly forwards or
backwards to change their positions so that the lock pin latches on to the brake ring.

7.2.3.1 Engaging the wheel lock

The wheel lock must be engaged when taking the child out or parking the rehab buggy on uneven surfaces:
1) Engage the wheel lock: Press the brake bar down with the tip of your foot (see fig. 40).
2) Release the wheel lock: Pull the brake bar up with the tip of your foot (see fig. 41).

7.2.4 Suspension

The suspension can be adjusted continuously according to the user's weight and the conditions of the road/sur­
face:
1) Twist the adjustment rings on both sides of the frame equally (see fig. 42, item 1).
→ Clockwise: the suspension becomes tighter.
→ Counterclockwise: the suspension becomes softer.
2) Check that the adjustment rings are positioned the same on both sides. The 4 marks can be used for orienta­
tion (see fig. 42, item 2; see fig. 43, item 1).
