6.6 Brake

CAUTION
Brake not engaged when getting in/out
User may fall or tip over
► Before the user gets into the buggy or out of it, always engage and check the wheel lock.
► Engage the wheel locks to prevent the rehab buggy from moving on uneven ground or during transfers (e.g.
into a car).
NOTICE
Incorrect use of the wheel lock
Damage to wheels, loss of braking function
► Do not use the wheel lock whilst travelling. The product must be standing still before braking.
► Do not engage the wheel lock forcefully.
► When you activate the wheel lock and feel clear resistance, you can move the wheels slightly forwards or
backwards to change their positions so that the lock pin latches on to the brake ring.

The wheel lock must be engaged when taking the child out or parking the rehab buggy on uneven surfaces:
1) Engage the brake: Press the brake bar down with the tip of your foot (see Fig. 29).
2) Release the brake: Pull the brake bar up with the tip of your foot (see Fig. 30).
