SAS Cables

This drawing shows connectors for SAS cabling. For primary and secondary, the top two
connectors are marked In, and the bottom two connectors are marked In/Out.
Connect two mini-SAS HD cables (SFF-8644) from the head server node host bus adapter
(HBA) card to the top two Primary receptacles marked In. If using the E2C model for
redundancy, connect two more mini-SAS HD cables to the top two Secondary receptables
also marked In. Cables are described in Appendix B.
To cascade out, connect cables from the two receptacles marked In/Out to the next JBOD
storage enclosure. (see Figure 3-2 and 3-3)
