3.8.4 VPN > PPTP
PPTP ("Point to Point Tunnelling Protocol") is a VPN technology developed my Microsoft.
Due to the popularity of the Windows platform, and seamless integration by Microsoft of PPTP into
Windows, it is an extremely popular choice when it needs to work "out of the box". You should be
aware that the encryption used by this tunnel type is known to be vulnerable to attack, and use is
deprecated.
Multimax can be both a PPTP client and/or a PPTP server.
