3/35 Sample Loader TS Guide
VP - 3.6 X-Axis Solenoid to Guide Rod Check
Purpose: Perform this procedure to verify that the X-Axis Solenoid Slide is square (perpendicular)
to the X-Axis Guide Rods,
1. Locate X-Axis Home Sensor Flag below Platen, attached to X-Axis Solenoid Slide
2. Verify color of X-Axis Sensor Flag
GRAY [CE MARK] - No adjustment required. Install Platen (if removed). Go to
Laser Shield Check" (Page
BLACK [NON-CE MARK] - Adjustment required. If Platen is removed, do not install. Go to Step
3.
3. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold MAN and START.
b. Turn Power ON, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
4. If Platen is installed, go to Step 5, if Platen is Not installed, go to Step 6.
