Replacing the seat frame with seat brackets (standard seat)
f Prerequisites:
Switch off the control unit and deactivate the main fuse (see Seite 12).
Remove the legrests.
Remove the seat cushion and back padding.
f Tools: Allen wrench size 5; open-ended or ring wrench size 13; torque wrench with Allen insert size 5
Removing the seat frame and seat brackets (standard seat)
1) Remove the legrest holder (see Seite 68).
2) Remove the back (see Seite 58).
3) Remove the seat plate (see Seite 45).
4) Remove the side panels and side panel holders (see Seite 65).
5) INFORMATION: Note the installed position of the cables and cable attachments.
Remove or open the cable attachments along the seat frame (see Fig. 93, item 1).
6) Loosen and remove the 3 screws and nuts between the seat frame and seat brackets on both sides (see Fig. 94,
item 1).
7) Remove the seat frame. Remove or open additional cable attachments if necessary.
8) If necessary: Remove the seat brackets (see Fig. 94, item 2). To do so, loosen and remove 2 screws each on all
4 seat brackets (see Fig. 94, item 3).
Installing the seat frame and seat brackets (standard seat)
1) Attach the 4 seat brackets to the frame according to their original installed position (see Fig. 94, item 2). To do
so, insert 2 screws each on all 4 seat brackets and firmly tighten them (see Fig. 94, item 3).
2) Carefully insert the seat frame into the seat brackets.
3) Insert the 3 screws with nuts between the seat frame and seat brackets on both sides and firmly tighten them
(see Fig. 94, item 1).
