Operating sequences
The following roughing cycles can be used via the vertical softkey bar or by choosing via cursor keys:
● Roughing cycle A - simple stepped contour
● Roughing cycle B - expanded stepped contour with beveled edges
● Roughing cycle C - expanded stepped contour with rounding
● Roughing cycle D - single radius
● Roughing cycle E - single taper
● Roughing cycle F - Face and longitudinal turning
● Roughing cycle - free contour

Roughing cycle A

Functionality
The roughing cycle A function is used to produce a simple stepped contour (step), with the option of working the transitions
to adjacent faces as a radius or chamfer.

1. Starting from the main menu for MM+ you can reach the roughing cycle functions via this
softkey.
1. You can access the turning cycle overview by pressing this softkey in the basic screen for
MM+.
2. In the displayed screen, press this softkey.
