9.1

Connecting to a Network with DHCP

Usually, the IP address on a network is assigned by a DHCP server (Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol). A prerequisite for this is that DHCP mode is enabled on the
scale.
Press the i button to call up the "Settings" menu.

Go into the submenu "Ethernet".

If the display says "DHCP (On)", the settings are correct.
If not, go into the submenu "DHCP".

Select "On".
t
Confirm with the l key.

The DHCP mode is now turned on.

When you switch on the scale, the scale is automatically assigned an IP address by
the DHCP server.
Check the network connection (see Chapter 9.3, page 44).
