Mixing a Formula with Factor Calculation (example)
Suppose you want to weigh 500 ml for a basic formula that has a total volume of
1 l, and you don't want to have to manually recalculate the individual components
of the formula.
The basic formula for 1 liter:

Total:
Place the empty container on the weighing pan.

Select [0] (1) to zero/tare the scale.

Set a conversion factor of 0.5 (2) (see Chapter 6.4.1, page 29).

Select [w] (3) to start the formula.
