5.1.6 Use of the foot regulator in VE
Mode
During VE mode, it is possible to transfer the control of the
vacuum to the connected foot regulator. The ATMOS S 351
Natal automatically goes into Suction mode in this case.
The ATMOS S 351 Natal must be switched off before the foot
regulator is connected or disconnected.

In VE mode, set the foot regulator pedal towards the positi-
on which corresponds to the currently applied vacuum (fi g.
29 and 31). This transfers control over the vacuum to the
foot regulator. The ATMOS S 351 Natal goes into suction
mode (fi g. 30). The automatic vacuum build up mode can
be restarted by pressing the extraction cup button (fi g.
19).
