After the -20 kPa base vacuum has been reached, the unit
waits for the extraction cup button to be depressed. During
this waiting period, an alert tone sounds syn-chronised with
the fl ashing of the green LED. When the extraction cup
button is pressed, the alert tone stops and the automatic
vacuum build up starts (fi g. 22).
An alert tone sounds when the fi nal vacuum level has been
reached (long tone with one short break). The time displa-
yed is 0 seconds (fi g. 23). The fi nal vacuum is held.
