8.0 Trouble-shooting
Fault
Flashing thermometer display in
the graphics display (ATMOS S 351
Natal has overheated)
Continuous thermometer display in the
graphics display (ATMOS S 351 Natal
has overheated)
Only a low vacuum can be set with the
foot regulator
Quick fl ashing of the green LED and
synchronuously alarm signal
During vacuum generation resp. after
having reached the fi nal vacuum value
in the VE mode
Possible cause
– Ventilation louvres blocked
– Excessive ambient temperature
– Fan faulty
– See 'fl ashing display'
– A low vacuum has been set with the
buttons.
– Leakages in the system lead to vacuum
loss or fi nal vacuum cannot be achie-
ved
Remedies
– Check the ventilation louvres
(bottom of unit). They must not be
blocked
– Only use the ATMOS S 351 Natal
within the temperature range stated.
Try and use Auto Standby (less heat
is generated)
– Call the service department
– Try and use Auto Standby (less heat
is generated)
– Leave the unit switched on so that
the fan can blow the hot air out of the
unit. Wait until the display clears
– Set the nominal vacuum to a higher
value (or to max.) using the + button
to obtain a greater control range for
the foot regulator
– Check the connection hoses and the
jar on leakages
– Extraction cup may not correctly be
applied
