8.0 Trouble-shooting
Fault
Alarm during suction, unit switches off
No trolley symbol on the graphics dis-
play even though the trolley is used
Incorrect vacuum unity is displayed
(mbar / mmHg / kPa)
The graphics display is too dark / can-
not be read easily
Spanner displayed on graphics
display
No vacuum or vacuum low

Possible cause
– Too much foam,
foam bubbles close the contact
between sensor and double socket
nipple
– The connection to the trolley has been
interrupted.
– The trolley was purchased before
March 2000
– The vacuum unity has been set
incorrectly
– The brightness of the graphics
display is not correctly adjusted
– An equipment fault has occurred
– The foot regulator is connected and
in heel stop
Remedies
– Place anti-foaming device on level
sensor (Art. No. 444.0064.0)
– Check the contacts between the
trolley and the ATMOS S 351 Natal
– Ask the service department to con-
vert the trolley for operation with the
ATMOS S 351 Natal
– Set the unity for the vacuum as
required and as described in
chapter 5.5

et the brightness of the graphics
display as required and as described
in Chapter 5.3.6
– If the display clears, the ATMOS S 351
Natal was able to remove the fault.
However, a service engineer should
check the suction unit
– Only emergency operation is
possible as long as the display is
shown (chapter 5.6.1). Call
the service department
– Disconnect the foot regulator or de-
press it with your toes
