5.2.5 Short circuit between
contact terminals
If there is a short circuit between the contact terminals, a
warning is shown in regular intervals (fi g. 32) and an audible
signal sounds simultaneously. The vacuum currently present
is not affected (there is no vacuum release).
To avoid malfunctions, use the supports on the
unit for original ATMOS jars only.

Adjustments

During switching on, keep depressing the extraction cup
button (fi g. 19, page 20) to reach the Service 1 menu. Here,
adjustments can be made in following sub-menus (fi g. 33):
Adjusting unities (Adjust Unity) (see chapter 5.3.5, page
30).
Adjusting brightness of graphics display (LCD Bright-
ness).
Switching on and off of the alert tones for the 'start of
automatic vacuum build up' and 'fi nal vacuum is reached'
(VE Tone) (fi g. 34).
Adjusting time period for vacuum build up and vacuum
release (VE Time) (fi g. 35).
Adjusting fi nal vacuum value (VE Vac) (fi g. 36).
Adjusting fully automatic or semi-automatic vacuum build
up (VE Automatic) (fi g. 37, page 30).
To reach the respective sub-menu, select with the arrow bu-
ttons and confi rm with the Max button
1 menu, press the extraction cup button.

