Safety wiring
Cleaning of parts
Before re-using disassembled parts, clean, check and refit them as per

Use clean screws and nuts. Always inspect the contact face and thread
for damage. If unsure, use new parts.
Once loosened, always replace self-securing nuts.

At reassembly of the engine, replace all sealing rings, gaskets, securing

nance instructions. Failure to comply may result in damage.

In order to avoid mechanical damage, always loosen or

If during disassembling/reassembling the removal of a

safety item (e.g. safety wiring, self-locking fastener,
etc.) should be necessary, it must be always replaced
by a new one.
All metal and synthetic parts should be washed with

suitable cleaning agents. Before using new and un-
known cleaning agents, check their compatibility with
the materials they are being used on.
Non-compliance can result in serious injuries or death!
WARNUNG WARNING
Exactly observe the tightening torques for screws and
nuts. Overtightening or too loose of a connection could
cause serious engine damage.
