Modifying Policy Text - NetSHIELD Branch PRO User Manual


Click the Select Page... pull-down on either the Basic Policy Builder Overview page or
the Basic Policy Builder Instruction page. Here, you can select any of the 26 policies in
the list as well as the overview, instructions, or Policy Status for each policy listing.
To modify a policy, click the Select Page... pull-down menu on either the Basic Policy Builder
Overview page or the Basic Policy Builder Instruction page.

Select a policy from the drop down list, such as 7 – Data Backup Policy.
The Introduction to Policy section appears with a gray background.
The gray background indicates text that does not actually appear in the policy but is there
to instruct or explain. Only text that appears on a white background remains in the policy.

Click Next to move to the following screen and edit the text of the Overview, Purpose, and
Scope sections of the policy. There are separate white text blocks for each item.
