Procedure
Check with throttle fully
closed.
Check with throttle fully
open.
Set the engine stop switch
to " ", and then operate
the throttle while cranking
the engine. (If the display
values change, the perfor-
mance is OK.)
Compare the actually mea-
sured intake air tempera-
ture with the FI diagnostic
tool display value.
Check that the number
increases when the front
wheel is rotated. The num-
ber is cumulative and does
not reset each time the
wheel is stopped.
Remove the lean angle
sensor and incline it more
than 45 degrees.
Compare the actually mea-
sured battery voltage with
the FI diagnostic tool dis-
play value. (If the actually
measured battery voltage
is low, charge the battery.)
Compare the actually mea-
sured engine temperature
with the FI diagnostic tool
display value.
Extend and retract the side-
stand (with the transmis-
sion in gear).
Shift the transmission.
