4. Check:
• Shift lever 3 match mark "a"
Shift the gear into 2nd and check for align-
ment with the match mark "b" in the shift
drum.
Not aligned  Adjust.
TIP
Loosen the locknut "1" and adjust with the ad-
juster "2".
