• Intake air temperature sensor coupler
• Wire harness ECU coupler
• Sub-wire harness coupler
3 Open or short circuit in wire harness
and/or sub-wire harness.
4 Defective intake air temperature sensor.

diagnostic tool display value.

Check or maintenance job
• Check for looseness or pinching.
• Check the coupler for any pins that may be
pulled out.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect
the coupler securely.
• Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
• Between intake air temperature sensor cou-
pler and ECU coupler.
Br/W–Br/W (brown/white–brown/white)
B/L–B/L (black/blue–black/blue)
• Execute diagnostic code No. D05.
• Replace if defective.
Refer to "CHECKING THE INTAKE AIR
TEMPERATURE SENSOR" on page 7-72.
