2.2.1 Connecting Master Drives
Master drives must be connected to the left side of the SuperSonix-NG. These
ports are write-protected and are labeled as follows:
SAS S1 – SAS/SATA data port for the Master 1 (S1) position.
SAS drives requires optional software activation.
SAS S2 – SAS/SATA data port for the Master 2 (S2) position.
SAS drives requires optional software activation.
PWR 1 – Power port for SAS S1.
PWR 2 – Power port for SAS S2.
SS S1 – USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Master port.
PCIe – PCIe port for PCIe, mPCIe, and M.2 AHCI/NVME drives.

FW S1 – FireWire Master port –
