Parameters
10: Sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps.
100: Sets the interface speed to 100 Mbps.
1000: Sets the interface speed to 1000 Mbps.
10000: Sets the interface speed to 10000 Mbps.
auto: Enables the interface to negotiate a speed with its peer.
Usage guidelines
A GE SFP interface supports only keywords 100, 1000, and auto.
A GE copper port supports only keywords 10, 100, 1000, and auto.
A 10-GE SFP+ interface supports only keywords 1000, 10000, and auto.
A 10-GE copper port supports only keywords 100, 1000, 10000, and auto.
Interfaces on an HPE 5130/5510 10GbE SFP+ 2-port Module (JH157A) or HPE 5130/5510
10GBASE-T 2-port Module (JH156A) interface card support only the 10000 keyword.
For a fiber port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the rate of a transceiver module.
