▼ Run POST With Maximum Testing
This procedure describes how to configure the server module to run the maximum
level of POST.
1. Access the Oracle ILOM -> prompt:

2. Set the virtual keyswitch to diag so that POST will run in service mode.
-> set /SYS/keyswitch_state=diag
Set 'keyswitch_state' to 'Diag'
3. Reset the system so that POST runs.
There are several ways to initiate a reset. The following example shows a reset by
issuing commands that will power cycle the host.
-> stop /SYS
Are you sure you want to stop /SYS (y/n)? y
Stopping /SYS
-> start /SYS
Are you sure you want to start /SYS (y/n)? y
Starting /SYS
Note – The server module takes about one minute to power off. Type the show
/HOST command to determine when the host has been powered off. The console will
display status=Powered Off.
