Before removing the rear hot-swap drive assembly:
1. Remove the top cover. See "Remove the top cover" on page 42.
2. Remove the drives or drive fillers installed in the rear hot-swap drive assembly. See "Remove a hot-
swap drive" on page 65 and "Install a hot-swap drive" on page 66.
3. Disconnect the rear hot-swap drive assembly cables from the system board and the RAID adapter on
the system board.
To remove the rear hot-swap drive assembly, complete the following step:

Step 1.
Hold the two blue touch points and directly lift the rear hot-swap drive assembly out of the chassis.
If you are instructed to return the old rear hot-swap drive assembly, follow all packaging instructions and use
any packaging materials that are provided.

Install the rear hot-swap drive assembly

Use this information to install the rear hot-swap drive assembly.
Note: The rear hot-swap drive assembly is only supported for server models with 10 drive bays in the front;
meanwhile, the processor TDP should be less than or equal to 125 watt.
