Flywheel Removal - Honda TRX400EX FOURTRAX 1999 Service Manual

Route the alternator wire properly (page 1-18).
Connect the alternator connectors.
Install the seatlrear fender (page 2-21.
Install the starter idle gear shaft, gear and spacer in
the left crankcase cover.
Install the dowel pins and
Install the starter idle gear cover and tighten the four
bolts securely.
FLY W H E E L R E MOVAL
Remove the left crankcase cover (page 10-2).
Hold the flywheel with the special tool and loosen the
flywheel bolt.

Flywheel holder
Remove the flywheel bolt and special washer.
