Apply oil to new bearings.
Drive the mainshaft, crankshaft and balancer bear-
ings in with the marking side facing up using the spe-
cial tools.
TOOLS:
Mainshaft bearing:
Driver
Attachment, 42 x 47 mm
Pilot, 22 mm
Crankshaft bearing:
Driver
Attachment, 72 x 75 mm
Pilot, 30 mm
Balancer bearing:
Driver
Attachment, 37
Pilot, 15 mm
Drive a new countershaft oil seal in using a suitable

Drive the countershaft bearing in with the sealed side
facing down using the special tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 42
Pilot. 17 mm
Apply locking agent to the mainshaft bearing setting
plate bolt threads.
Install the setting plate and tighten the bolts.
TORQUE: 12 N.m 11.2 kgf.m, 9 IbfW
Be sure align the
notch in the
seal
with crankcase
ihe
passage.
LEFT CRANKCASE
Remove the countershaft and gearshift spindle
seals.
Use 24 mm socket or suitable tool.
