Appendix A: Keypad User Menu

Performs an Unset on the system. If multiple areas are defined then each area is presented in a sub-
1 UNSET
menu. For a single area system this option is only presented when the system is Set.
Performs a Fullset on the system. If multiple areas are defined then each area is presented in a sub-
2 FULLSET
menu. For a single area system this option is only presented when the system is Unset.
Performs a Partset A on the system. If multiple areas are defined then each area is presented in a
3 PARTSET A
sub-menu.
Performs a Partset B on the system. If multiple areas are defined then each area is presented in a
4 PARTSET B
sub-menu.
5 RESTORE Performs Restore operation. This option is only presented when there are active alerts to restore.

To select an option in the user menus using only the keypad digits, press the user
code plus the digit listed to the left of the menu option, shown below: eg. to activate
a Partset A, enter the user code + 3.
INHIBIT Allows users to inhibit a zone
ISOLATE Allows users to isolate a zone
SET DATE/TIME Allows users to set the time and date
Allows users to perform a Bell test or Walk test OR change the audible

EVENT LOG Allows users to view a log of the most recent events on the system
Allows users to set the chime attribute on a zone; used for testing zone
CHIME
inputs without triggering an alarm
USERS Allows Manager type users to add, edit, and delete users
CHANGE CODE Allows users to change their user code
Allows users to set up the SMS service for sending short text messages to
SETUP SMS
mobile phones via the PSTN Line
GRANT ACCESS Allows users to grant Engineer or Manufacturer access to the system
