7. Illustration A6 Locate Ergoline System
Control Unit at the left end of the lower service
compartment and remove cover A.
8. Illustration A6 Remove retainer clip from
control wire B. Disconnect plug X 10 and feed
control cable through cable guard.
9. Disconnect plug X9, contacts 1 and 2 (sensor
lead) from circuit board and feed cable through
cable guard.
10. Reattach control unit concealment cover.
11. Remove the two 6 mm attachment screws
and hinge control unit assembly down. This will
expose the main power connector to the base
and canopy assemblies.
12. Illustration A7 Disconnect the power connec-
tors 1.7, 1.10, 1.12 from the receptacles and
remove the cable ties.
13. Hinge control assembly back into place and
attach to the rear panel with two 6 mm screws.
14. Close service access compartment.
15. Unlock bottom acrylic with the Ergoline
Service key. Insert key in lock and turn clockwise
1/4 turn.
16. Raise acrylic panel assembly until locked.
The panel should lock in an upright position.
17. Illustration A8 Supporting acrylic assembly.
Detach support retainers at the head of the
acrylic assembly by removing the two 6 mm
philips screws. Repeat procedure for foot end
assembly.
