D Transmitting a Kill command

A Kill command enables you to send a signal that will
disable the target station.
<Menu operation>
Portable: For the Ten-key and the Simple key types
Mobile: For the LCD types
(Menu > Signaling/Call > Call Menu)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Signaling/Call,"
then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Call Menu," then
push [OK].
4. Push [Up] or [Down] to select the Individual ID,
then push [OK].
5. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Kill," then push
[PTT] to transmit the Kill command.
• The target station is disabled.
L "Success" is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgement from the target station.
L "Failed" is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement.

D Transmitting an Emergency call

An NXDN Emergency call can be transmitted in
the same way as the 2-Tone, 5-Tone, or MDC 1200
signaling operation. See "Emergency call" for details.
