FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
5. Lubricate:
S brake caliper retaining bolt
CAUTION:
S Do not allow grease to contact the brake
pads.
S Remove any excess grease.
6. Install:
S brake caliper
S brake caliper retaining blots
S brake hose holder bolt
7. Check:
S brake fluid level
Below the minimum level mark a ! Add the
recommended brake fluid to the proper level.
Refer to "CHECKING THE BRAKE FLUID
LEVEL" in chapter 3.
8. Check:
S brake lever operation
Soft or spongy feeling ! Bleed the brake
system.
Refer to "BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC
BRAKE SYSTEM" in chapter 3.
